Full-Stack Software Engineer
Agteria Biotech is on a mission to reduce 1% of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions. We are developing products to make agriculture more sustainable and solve climate change in the most effective way - starting with our novel methane inhibitor, reducing methane production in cattle. Everything we do is guided by our values of speed, impact, and collaboration - they shape how we work together and how we innovate.
To deliver on our mission at speed and scale, we’re building an internal software platform that will power our entire innovation process - from early scientific discovery to commercialization. This is where you come in.
The Role
We’re hiring our first Full-stack Software Engineer to design, build, and own this platform from the ground up.
You’ll sit at the intersection of biotech, data, and AI, applying software to one of the world’s biggest challenges, not another sales agent (shots fired). As the technical lead, you’ll define architecture, ship core features, and embed workflows from science, regulatory, and commercial teams into one cohesive system. This role is as entrepreneurial as it gets: you’ll be building the foundation that scales Agteria’s innovation engine.
Responsibilities
- Build and scale Agteria’s internal platform across the full innovation lifecycle.
- Architect backend and frontend systems that are robust and scalable.
- Ship quickly and iterate fast, while introducing structure as the platform matures.
- Work closely with the founders, Head of Science, and regulatory team to make the platform fit real-world workflows.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of experience building and shipping full-stack software products.
- Strong skills in system design, APIs, and data management.
- Entrepreneurial builder mentality: fast, pragmatic, and improving constantly.
- Excited by the idea of applying your skills directly to climate innovation.
- Eager to integrate AI into your workflow to speed up development.
- Independent and proactive, while collaborative across disciplines.
Location
We strongly prefer that you work from our Stockholm office to share the energy and feel the momentum.
